Brookings, SD- FGCU (2-11) dropped their sixth game in a row Wednesday night at Frost Arena to South Dakota State (8-6).
Stats:
FGCU shot 39% from the field (22/56), 30% from 3 (8/26), and were outrebounded 40-27 by the Jackrabbits. The Eagles dished out 11 assists, had 5 blocks, and forced 15 SDSU turnovers. FGCU had 13 team turnovers in the game.
Key Contributors:
The Jackrabbits had 3 players finish in double figures in scoring including Douglas Wilson (20 points), Matt Dentlinger (15 points), and David Wingett (12 points). The Eagles were paced by Caleb Catto who scored 13 points along with Justus Rainwater who contributed 12 points. Brian Thomas played 12 minutes and scored 2 points in his first game back since the road opener vs St. Louis University.
